The interview process was extremely slow and unprofessional. They didn't call at the scheduled time for the initial interview, and I had to reach out to inquire about it. The first telephonic round also started 20 minutes late without any apology. After clearing that, I had another telephonic round, which I also cleared. I was then invited for a face-to-face interview, which I passed. I was told a managerial round would follow the next day, but again, there was no call or communication. After following up, the interview was rescheduled. As of now, I haven't received any further communication. It was a pathetic experience, and I wouldn't join such a company with so-called unprofessional professionals.

I had a phone interview with the manager where I talked about my strengths and weaknesses and what I could contribute. It wasn't super clear what the job actually entailed. Then I was invited for an onsite interview with three parts. First, two QA engineers asked me SQL questions, which is a weak spot for me, so I didn't do great. After that, two developers asked me about Junit and API stuff. By then, I wasn't really feeling it because the role didn't seem like a good fit for my skills. One interviewer was also really unpleasant when I couldn't answer something he thought was basic. I'd already laid out my skills in the phone interview, so I guess the manager should have prepped the interviewers better. Lastly, I had a one-on-one with the manager I spoke to initially, and I basically told him that this job only uses about 20% of what I can do and I'd need to learn the rest on the job. Overall, it was a bad experience; I think interviewers should be more humble and not make it a big deal if a candidate doesn't meet all their expectations.

First, there was an MCQ assessment on HackerRank covering topics like Linux commands, job scheduling, CI/CD, Docker, Git, Jenkins, and Rest API. After passing that, I got a call from the recruiter to set up the first actual interview round. Then there was a second round to clear.
