I started with a phone interview. Then, the second round involved me getting an email with three time slots to choose from. I picked the one that worked best for me, but I didn't realize it was for three calls back to back. I only attended one and had to reschedule the other two after the recruiter emailed me about it. I thought it was a bit strange she didn't mention it when I replied with my chosen time.

I had one phone interview, which was basically an HR screening. The interview itself went well, but the communication surrounding it was terrible. They told me on the phone during the interview that I had passed to the second round, which felt really fast. They said they'd contact me right away with details. However, it's been a full FIVE weeks, and I still haven't heard back, even after following up twice via email. They never responded to my emails, which I found really unprofessional. I put a lot of hours into preparing, and they couldn't even take a couple of minutes to reply. This might indicate a major communication issue, and perhaps I dodged a major problem. It felt like a waste of my time and effort.

The interview process was pretty smooth and quite thorough. It started with a quick chat with a recruiter over the phone. Then, I had a call with someone currently in the role, just to see if it was a good match for both sides. After that, I went for a half-day onsite. This included meeting with the hiring manager and some of the team, plus a tour of the place. The final decision took a bit longer because of the holidays, but my recruiter and everyone else I spoke with did a great job of keeping me in the loop and interested.
