Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Qualtrics.
Intern
Had a 15-minute phone interview. They talked a lot about the company Qualtrics, their hiring process, current projects, and company structure. Then they asked a quick question to check my English (since I'm not a native speaker) and explained how to schedule the next hiring step.
- Can you tell me about your hobbies?
Intern
Started out great, met the recruiters at a hackathon, they seemed friendly and knew a lot about the company. But then, during the technical phone interview, the interviewer was kind of quiet and in a noisy place, which made it tough to focus on the problem. About a week after that, I got an email saying I'd made it to a second technical interview. However, the very next day, another email came saying Qualtrics wasn't moving forward with my application. I messaged the recruiter, and she confirmed they were done with my process.
- How many ways are there to climb n stairs taking 1 or 2 steps at a time?
Intern
I submitted my resume through a friend and got an email a day later to set up a technical interview over the phone. It was 15 minutes of talking about me and my resume, 5 minutes talking about a data structure, and the rest of the time coding.
- Can you find a path from one end of a square of 0s and 1s to the other?
- How would you add the children of a 5 children Binary Tree?
