Customer Success Manager
I interviewed for a Customer Success Manager/Associate role in Sydney. The process had 3 rounds. First, I spoke with a recruiter who asked standard questions. In the second round, I interviewed with a senior team member. This went well, and they suggested I was better suited for the full CSM role, not the associate one. The third round was in-person with the manager. He was late to start and then explained the role had changed to be more technical. Within 15 minutes, he decided I wasn't a fit due to this change. It was rough going from being told I fit a senior role to being rejected immediately in person, especially when it felt like the job I interviewed for no longer existed. Honestly, it feels like I dodged a bullet.

Customer Success Manager
The interview process included an initial recruiter call, followed by four additional rounds. It began with the hiring manager, then a cross-functional interview, followed by a TACOS (values) interview, and concluded with an interview with the department leader. The interviews primarily consisted of situational questions, where candidates were expected to provide examples of past experiences demonstrating specific skills or actions.
- Can you tell me about a technology you're familiar with and what it's used for?
Customer Success Manager
The interview process included a recruiter phone screen, a case interview, a virtual onsite, and a final interview with the US head of the Customer Success org. The recruiter call lasted about 30 minutes and went well, leading to the case round. It was strange because although I don't require sponsorship and my green card process is ongoing, they later said no due to my immigration status, which wasn't mentioned in the job application. I think companies should clarify immigration status questions upfront rather than wasting time. Also, I applied for a NY position, but the recruiter tried to get me to consider the Utah office.
- Can you share your experience with managing customers?
- What is your background in business development?
- What makes you interested in this specific role?
