I usually don't let bad experiences get to me, but I feel this needs to be said - not because I'm bitter, but because I hope companies will start valuing basic respect and professionalism in their hiring process. I passed the first two interview rounds with Qualitest without any issues, and I was feeling good about it. But things took a sharp and disappointing turn when I interacted with their HR. Right before my final discussion, I got a call that was dismissive and disrespectful. It wasn't just uncalled for, it was completely unprofessional and messed with my head before an important conversation. The HR round itself felt like a waste of time. I believe your manager and teammates shape your work culture, not an HR person asking judgmental, baseless questions. Their tone was condescending, their wording rude, and their assumptions downright insulting. Respect isn't a perk, it's a basic right, and the lack of it here was obvious. I decided to turn down the offer. I don't work with people or companies that try to degrade someone's dignity under the guise of an 'evaluation.' If someone lacks basic manners, that's a character issue, not an HR problem. To any company reading this: if your hiring process makes candidates question your integrity and values, you need to assess your culture, not the candidate.

First they did an online screening with aptitude and programming mcqs. Then there was a GD session to talk about interests. The third round was a technical face-to-face which was average. The last round was an HR round with just formal questions.

It started off really positive, they said my interview went amazing. But then after saying my resume was good, they told me they couldn't schedule my next interview because of my resume. They said they'd try to get another interview, but then they ghosted me. Apparently I needed experience for a job that required no experience. They never officially rejected me, just stopped responding and then relisted the job. So basically, they ghosted me after saying they would try to get me another interview, even though they told me my resume was good.
