The interview process has 3 steps. Overall, it was a nice experience. First, there was an HR phone call for about 30 minutes where we talked about my resume and salary expectations. Then, there was a 1-hour video call on Teams with two interviewers. The questions were mostly technical and some were based on my experience, it was a relaxed and enjoyable conversation. I didn't get to the final client discussion because I accepted another offer in the meantime.

I went through two technical rounds, then client, managerial, and HR rounds, and passed all of them. However, when it came to the salary negotiation, they were unwilling to offer the 30% hike expected from MNCs. The HR was being very stingy, stating they could only offer my current CTC or a slightly higher amount. Consequently, I declined the offer, as I don't want to work for an organization that behaves like that. They claim to be the largest independent software testing firm, but I disagree if they can't even provide a 30% hike. For those considering interviews there, check their budget for the position first to avoid wasting your time and money.

I had a call from Qualitest HR in Bangalore, and we set up a face-to-face interview. It ended up being over 3 hours long, with rounds involving HR, the Tech Lead, a Manager, an HR panel, and finally the CEO. I passed the technical and managerial parts, and then we discussed salary with HR. They agreed on a CTC after some unprofessional haggling. The final meeting was with the CEO and some clients. Afterward, HR told me to wait for a call about the next steps, but I never heard back. When I called for an update, HR said the CEO wasn't happy with my salary expectations. I pushed back, saying we could negotiate. Then, the story changed: the CEO thought I wasn't technically strong enough. I argued that this should have come up in the technical interview, not with the CEO, but HR had no answer. They made excuses, eventually citing salary as the reason for rejection, calling it a poorly paying company. I ended the conversation with HR and felt I had wasted my time. I strongly advise anyone considering this company to think carefully.
