First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Quad.
Project Manager
I've interviewed with them twice in the last few years for Project Manager roles. Never heard back either time. The first time, I did two phone interviews and a virtual video call. The second time, I had one phone call and was told they'd get back to me. Not impressed. I always send thank you notes, but I won't waste my time with them again.
- What makes you want this job and what do you know about the company?
Partnership Marketing Manager
It was a pretty straightforward process. I started with a call with the recruiter, who was really nice. The whole thing took a few weeks. I was expecting another interview, but then they told me they'd actually gotten rid of the position. Still, it was a good experience overall!
- Can you describe a situation where you collaborated with different teams and external vendors?
Product Specialist
The interview process was quick and efficient. I met with the recruiter, then the hiring managers, and finally had a panel interview with team members. Everyone was very kind and gave me good feedback on my candidacy. All interviewers praised my achievements and certifications, even mentioning that my experience surpassed that of other team members and that I'd be a great fit for the role. After all the interviews, I received a phone call, which I thought was the job offer. It turned out to be a job offer, but for a different (lower) title with (lower) pay because a former team member was going to get the role. When I asked at what point they decided to go with a former team member, I got no response. I found it extremely rude and unprofessional to praise a candidate so highly, only to then offer them a role and pay that they didn't apply for and are well overqualified for. It was a complete disrespect of my time and talent. If you're hiring a former team member, don't waste external candidates' time, and definitely don't offer them a role and pay that's LOWER than what they are qualified for.

Digital Product Manager
I interviewed for the digital product manager position and got all the way to the last round. The Hiring Manager contacted me a week after the interview to let me know they'd have an update in a few days. The next week, I hadn't heard back, so I reached out for an update (just wanting closure) and was ghosted. I would have appreciated a quick email letting me know I didn't get the job instead of being ignored.
- Can you share an instance from your past where you had to change direction on a project?
