Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Qorvo.
Electronics Technician
I talked to 8 employers and did some practical tests. Each employer had different questions about what I'm looking for and how I can help the company.
- In what ways can you contribute to our company?
Technician
The interviewers were friendly and tried to make me feel comfortable. I spoke with 4 different people during the process. The conversation focused on my previous experiences, my ability to collaborate with others, and my physical capacity for tasks like standing for extended periods. They also inquired about my tolerance for chemical exposure and strong odors, as well as my aptitude for demanding work. We discussed my skills in working both independently and in a team setting.
- Can you tell me about your personal background and experiences?
- What is your experience with technology?
- How do you approach your work?
Manufacturing Technician
A Qorvo recruiter reached out and we had a 30-minute initial phone chat about my background and the job. Then, I spoke with the hiring manager on the phone. After that, I went to their site for the next steps. The onsite part started with a one-on-one with the hiring manager, then a group interview with a panel of 8 folks. I also had another one-on-one with the HR business partner for the site, and a final call with the recruiter while I was still there. Three days later, the recruiter called me with an offer.
- Can you tell me about your experience with Semiconductor fabrication, specifically covering Photolithography, Deposition, and Plating?
