First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Qorvo.
Design Engineer
Good company 3 steps interview. Medium to difficult question. If you have RF background, these will not be very challenging. Not too much of behavioral interview. Some questions were related to EM software you know.
- Can you tell me about yourself?
- Explain Maxwell's equations.
- What are S parameters?
Engineer
the interviewer was really friendly and made me feel comfortable by being encouraging and attentive to my answers. they were clear when asking questions and made sure I understood them, so the interview wasn't stressful at all.
- Could you tell me about your strengths and weaknesses?
Senior Design Engineer
The process started quick. There was one interview with a manager for about 30 minutes. Then, after a couple of weeks, I had a second technical interview. This one was 3 hours long and had three people interviewing me: one HR person and two technical people. They were good. The worst part is the slow response time after the interview and the lack of communication. I really hope they improve on communication. No email responses, no updates for months.
- Can you explain the Smith chart?
- Describe impedance matching using lumped elements.
- Regarding harmonic impact, which matching technique is superior?
