Software Engineer
It was a pretty straightforward process, back when I interviewed there four years ago. I'm adding this now even though the company shut down last month. I had a good time, met some good people, and worked on a good product. It just didn't last.
- What design patterns would you use for specific tasks?
Software Developer
You'll get questions about your past projects. Expect LeetCode questions, ranging from easy to medium difficulty. They'll also ask about your previous jobs and your role there. You'll have behavioral questions to understand what kind of worker you are. Just a heads up, the dev team might be small, so be mindful of the workload they could assign you.
- Could you describe what your typical day was like at your last job?
Software Engineer
I did a take home exam, then a phone interview, and finally an onsite interview. It felt like a waste of time since I had other offers and was just doing it for practice. They were supposed to give me a decision but never did and just ghosted me. They should at least send a rejection or update after the onsite. I'm not even sure what they do there, and they made me sign an NDA. Honestly, I wouldn't bother applying. Just another startup using the 'AI' buzzword.
- Tell me about basic javascript.
- Tell me about basic react.
