Systems Engineer
It was an online interview where they asked questions about my experience and why I wanted to work there. I also had to do a presentation about systems engineering. They asked questions like, 'In a project, what is the most important thing to establish with a client?' like requirements and stuff. Also asked what I knew about the company and why I applied.
- Can you tell me about your experience in systems engineering, particularly regarding project planning and client interaction?
- What are your thoughts on the most crucial aspect to define with a client when starting a project?
- How would you approach the planning phase of a systems engineering project?
Systems Engineer
I had to give a presentation about how systems engineering is used in a real-world situation. They asked me questions about my presentation during the interview. Overall, the interview was pretty good.
- What makes you want to join Qinetiq?
- Can you explain the distinction between user requirements and system requirements?
Systems Engineer
It was a standard interview format that was planned for an hour, but went on for at least 90 minutes. They seemed more interested in your interest in the field than technical skills. They responded well when asked questions about the industry and the field, so prep some questions.
- Tell me about an engineering product, concept, or idea, either current or future, that you find interesting and explain your reasoning.
