I applied and then the recruiting manager called me. We had a phone interview covering standard questions. Next, I met with a district manager who asked why I was looking to leave my current job for Qdoba. I was upfront about it, mentioning integrity issues with my previous employer regarding vacation pay. I presented performance metrics from my current role. He then gave me a tour of a Qdoba restaurant and explained the responsibilities of the position.

First, you'll have an informal chat with an Area Director outside the restaurant. They'll review your resume and ask standard questions about your interest in the role and your aspirations. After that, you'll complete an assessment to identify your strengths and weaknesses. If the assessment goes well, you'll have a phone interview with the HR manager. This interview will focus on you as a person, your work style, and your goals. Be sure to be positive, upbeat, and research the brand and its values beforehand. Following this, you'll get an offer and can start discussing salary. The work culture felt very supportive.
