I got a text from the recruiter and went through the usual interview process which took about a month. After talking to the recruiter, I interviewed with 3-4 other people. The job market was crazy in 2024, but after so many interviews, I was expecting more than an automated rejection email. I mentioned I appreciate feedback, but not even getting a real email after spending a lot of time prepping and interviewing says a lot about the company.

It was really straightforward. I put in my application, then I called the store to let them know I'd applied. After that, I scheduled an interview with one of the managers. It was a pretty typical interview.

Got referred by someone who works there. Filled out the online app and got a call the same week. The interview felt like a mix of a casual chat and a checklist of questions the manager needed to ask. Seemed like they mostly wanted to see if I could handle talking to customers and represent the brand. After the interview, had to do some online paperwork and the usual stuff for delivery drivers like proof of insurance and a DMV thing. Waited about a week before starting.

First, you'll have an informal chat with an Area Director outside the restaurant. They'll review your resume and ask standard questions about your interest in the role and your aspirations. After that, you'll complete an assessment to identify your strengths and weaknesses. If the assessment goes well, you'll have a phone interview with the HR manager. This interview will focus on you as a person, your work style, and your goals. Be sure to be positive, upbeat, and research the brand and its values beforehand. Following this, you'll get an offer and can start discussing salary. The work culture felt very supportive.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • None of the questions were overly difficult or unexpected. The informal setting of my initial interview did throw me for a loop though.
