Talent Acquisition Partner
I applied and messaged the hiring manager on LinkedIn but got no response. An agency recruiter contacted me and wanted to do a video call first, which I found a bit odd, but I agreed. She then scheduled my interview. After seeing some reviews, I wasn't sure about going, but since it was close by, I decided to attend. Honestly, based on meeting the hiring supervisor, I probably would have turned down an offer.
- What is your least favorite aspect of HR?
Talent Acquisition Specialist
The hiring process took over a month and had 3 rounds. My last interview was totally unprofessional. The interviewer did not even acknowledge me or pay attention. When I stuttered, she gave me a weird look, and I felt judged on how I spoke. She didn't ask about my background or experience. I think this company hires based on bias, not credibility, and they'll waste your time with multiple interviews before ghosting you.
- Can you explain the difference between Talent Acquisition and Recruitment?
Technical Recruiter
It took about two months, from February to April, and involved roughly eight meetings, only to find out there was no headcount. I really liked the team, but the overall experience wasn't great. It would have been better if there was more transparency and communication during the process.
- Can you share an experience with a difficult hiring manager?
- Describe your methods for sourcing candidates.
