First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at QBurst.
Software QA Tester
The interview was a really chill experience and the panel was super nice. They asked some creative questions to help me relax. It was a good interview overall. They came to our campus in January 2024 and there were just two steps to get selected: an online aptitude test and then a face-to-face technical and HR interview. After that, they gave me a Letter of Intent.
- Can you explain SDLC?
- What do you know about testing?
- Tell me about regression testing.
QA Engineer
The interview process was good, with an excellent environment. It had 4 rounds: aptitude, GD, technical, and HR. The aptitude round had basic quant and Java technical questions. The GD was a major elimination stage, where out of 20-25 groups of 10 members each, they selected 30-40 candidates.
- Tell me about testing.
- Can you solve some logical puzzles?
Senior QA Engineer
If you are in a position where you have to conduct an interviewing process, prepare a set of questions that you can ask. Familiarise yourself with candidate resumes beforehand. You can introduce yourself and set the stage so that candidates feel comfortable. Summarise what the job entails and the duties and functions they have to perform if selected. Be professional and ask relevant questions one by one. Give candidates ample time to think before they answer. You can start with the general questions first and move on to specific ones regarding their resume, skills and experience. Listen to each candidate's answers and ask follow-up questions if necessary. In the end, you can ask the candidates if they have any queries. Inform the candidates when they can expect a response from the company.
- How do you deal with an I frame?
