I applied online on the Qatar Airways website and about six months later, I got a link to do an automated video interview using HireVue. A month after that, I had two rounds of in-person interviews. The first one was with a recruiter who was nice and made me feel comfortable. The second one was with the hiring manager for cosmetics, but it was a bit difficult because they spoke fast and had a strong accent, which made it hard to understand them. They also didn't make much eye contact. When I explained why I left my last job, they seemed unhappy with my answer and kept asking for more details, making me feel like they didn't believe me. The whole process was organized and took a reasonable amount of time, but the last interview made me question the company's professionalism and how they treat candidates.

The interview process began with a videotaped assessment, followed by an interview with the talent team, and concluded with a meeting with the hiring manager. Although the process moved quickly, the talent team and hiring manager failed to provide feedback when I asked why I wasn't selected.

Before we started the final interview after Sonru, they told me the interview would be short because they have many candidates. Is this a bad sign? I felt that I did well.
