Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at QA InfoTech.
Test Engineer
It was a smooth, easy going, and interactive process. There was a written round, then a technical interview, and finally an HR interview. The process was good overall. They call you after you get selected after the interview. Everything is directed well to the candidate. Overall a good experience with QA Infotech company. Good Luck to candidates applying.
- Can you explain the fundamental aspects of software testing activities?
Performance Test Engineer
The interview process included a written round, followed by a face-to-face interview covering coding, scripting concepts, and a basic scenario with a hands-on component. The third round was with the CEO/CTO, focusing on work experience and test plan execution. The final round involved HR and salary discussions. Although all rounds were completed and salary was discussed, they unexpectedly did not send an offer, which was a very bad experience and unprofessional. They seem to operate in a way that suits them, conducting interviews without necessarily recruiting, and posting job openings frequently for free branding. Instead of acting like an MNC, they should adopt a better culture and process.
- What are response codes?
- Can you explain concepts related to JMeter?
- Tell me about shell scripting.
Software Test Engineer
They mostly hire through walk-ins for Manual Test profiles and Automation/Performance Testing profiles, but they also recruit from campuses. For the Manual Testing role, they ask basic questions about finding defects, writing test cases, and identifying patterns. The process involves a 15-minute question paper followed by an interview. For the Automation profile, a solid understanding of Java is necessary.
- Could you provide test cases for a stamp?
