Senior QA Engineer
I have 5 yrs experience and it was a 5 yr employee who conducted my interview. This was my worst experience because the interviewer was a girl and her facial expressions were very negative when I didn't reply exactly as she wanted. She seemed very egoistic and her DB query question was incorrect.
- Basic manual testing questions
- Database query related questions
- Questions about retrospective meetings
Senior QA Engineer
The first round was a telephonic screen. They asked about my project architecture and my daily duties. Also asked about the current project framework and testing techniques we are following. Some Automation Testing questions were also asked.
- Can you code a function to reverse a string?
- Could you explain the Java Collections Framework?
- What are the core OOPS concepts?
QA Analyst
I went to their office on the fixed time. First round was over in 30 mins and I was told that I qualified. The HR told me that I need to come in the evening for the second round before 8 pm. I reached there by 7:20pm and neither the HR nor the director, who was supposed to take my second round were there. I got a message then saying that we have left for the day and second round will be done later. After that, I didn't get any call or mail from their side.
- Can you explain some basic SQL queries?
- How would you perform functional testing on username and password fields?
