It was a 3 stage process. First, an HR call to discuss my experience. Second, a technical interview with technical questions and a project to complete and submit in two weeks. Finally, an interview with the director.

Behavioral Technical Coding

First, there was an HR call. Then, I spoke with the Technical Hiring Manager for about an hour, covering my work style and some basic tech questions. The next round was a coding challenge, which was quite long and the instructions were unclear. It felt like a college project with vague expectations and probably 15-20 hours of work. I decided to withdraw because spending so much time (over 3-4 hours) on a take-home project with vague requirements and no clear evaluation criteria didn't seem worthwhile, especially for experienced candidates. I think they should test us on real-world scenarios instead of asking for something like a Star Wars project.
