Overall, it was okay. The HR team seemed a bit overwhelmed and disorganized, but they managed to set things up eventually, though email responses were lacking. It felt like they were under a lot of pressure. There were multiple interview rounds, primarily focusing on technical deep dives into my area of expertise to assess my fit for the role.

The hiring process had 3 rounds. There was an interview with HR and with the hiring manager. Then a meeting with the team. The HR part took a while and I had to follow up multiple times.

Behavioral Presentation

This review is for the Planning Manager role at the Toronto head office. The process started with a screening interview with HR. Then, there was an in-person interview with the Director and VP. But the hiring manager I was told I was going to interview with never showed up. Instead, two other people showed up, and they never introduced themselves or explained why the other person wasn't there. Also, the two interviewers seemed very unprepared, like they had already made a decision or were asked last minute. The interview was very unstructured, they kept looking at each other and seemed clueless. They finished the interview in about 15-20 minutes. Then they said a more senior member was going to take 5 minutes, but I ended up waiting 15-20 minutes. It was unprofessional and unorganized. A few days later, I followed up with HR, and she sent a standard follow-up email saying they weren't moving forward. When I asked for feedback, I never heard back. My advice is not to waste candidates' time with in-person interviews if the hiring team has already made a decision or isn't interested.
