The selection process was pretty rigorous and thorough. First there was an Excel test and a detailed online assessment where they checked basic reasoning, logical analysis, and situational judgement skills. After that, we had a video interview.

The interview process overall went pretty fast, which was a surprise since other companies usually take their sweet time getting back. The interviewers were nice and asked good questions that made me feel good and excited about maybe joining PVH.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

I applied online in September and honestly forgot about it until early December when I got a call for a first round phone interview. It was a simple behavioral phone screen which led to a second round interview via Skype. This Skype call focused more on my background and interests. Right after that, I was moved to a third round which involved a recorded presentation on a couple of topics. The topic choices were pretty limited and not technical at all. The final round was a "superday" at PVH in NY. It wasn't very well planned; there was a 3-hour break in the middle for everyone, which we only found out about the morning of. The final round interviews themselves weren't difficult – no technical questions, more about seeing if I was a good fit for the department. I got an offer with a very short deadline, given on a Wednesday and needing an answer by Monday. I decided not to accept because it wasn't in my preferred field, I didn't like the company culture, and I wasn't excited about the actual work. The whole process was easy, but if you're hoping to use PVH internships as a way into quantitative fields outside of retail, I'd suggest looking elsewhere since most internships there don't focus on hard technical skills.
