Technical Coding

The process was longer than necessary, starting with an online test followed by a detailed discussion about company culture before the technical interview. I had to spend 30 minutes learning about the company, which felt like a waste of time since I didn’t pass the technical interview. It would make more sense to cover this information only after determining if the candidate passes the technical round.

Technical Coding Behavioral

Got an email from HR to confirm my first 1:1 interview. Then I had a 1:2 session with a Senior Engineer and QA from Pushpay. This was followed by an hour-long video call to learn about what Pushpay offers. After that, I was given a coding test to complete at home within 4 hours. Once I finished it, I was asked to schedule another interview that was supposed to be 2 hours long, but I turned it down. Booking interview times was really tough because HR is in the states and I'm in NZ. It was a tiring experience to spend 4 hours on the coding test and then another 2 hours for the behavioral interview.
