Sales Associate
They really care about customer service and finding people who are genuinely engaged. You don't need to know the products inside out beforehand, but it can help. Expect a few challenging situations designed to see how you react, but nothing overly difficult.
- Do you have prior retail experience?
Sales Associate
I applied online through the purehockey.com site for a job at a location I liked. I actually shopped at that location a few times after sending in my application. I also asked the staff there if they were hiring. During the interview, the Manager asked me about my experience with hockey equipment, my sales background, and my availability, specifically if I could work weekends during peak times and holidays.
- Are you available to work on weekends?
Sales Associate
Applied for the job and got a call back within a few days. I met with the store manager at the store. We went to the office and just talked for a bit. I was asked some pretty typical interview questions. It felt pretty relaxed, not a lot of pressure.
- Can you share an instance where you encountered a problem and describe how you solved it?
