First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at PulteGroup.
Intern
The interview process was very professional and the company seems like a great company and it was pretty nice talking with the people at Port group and they seem like they cared a lot about the company.
- Can you tell me about yourself and what you enjoy doing?
Intern
I set up a meeting to learn more about the internship, as there wasn't much info online. It turned into an interview without me realizing it. Throughout the meeting, the interviewer was patronizing and stated I wasn't a good fit due to my major, despite me explaining how my major provides a wide range of knowledge.
- What are your career aspirations for the next five years?
Intern
Company culture is great and the interview was pretty chill. A lot of the interview happened over lunch, which they paid for, downtown. They flew me out to corporate for the interview, we went straight to lunch, and the rest of the interview was back at the office. Most of the questions were about how I'd fit with the company, with some about my skills, experience, and qualifications.
- Could you tell me about your biggest weaknesses?
- Describe the biggest problem you've encountered and how you handled it.
