Customer Care Manager
First, I had a virtual interview with three upper-level managers from the customer care team. They were really nice. Towards the end, they asked if I could do a 'ride along' interview, and they scheduled it right there on the call. Then, a few minutes later, they called me back and asked if I could also do a second interview in person with the construction managers. I did that interview, and they told me I'd do the original ride-along interview afterward. This was on a Friday, but they said my ride-along was scheduled for Monday. I mentioned this, but they insisted it was happening that day. I went to the location, only to be told, 'Nope, Monday.' They did give me good news though: I was invited to a final interview after the ride-along with the VP of Construction. So, on Monday, I did a ride-along from 10 AM to 4 PM. The person I shadowed mentioned that employee turnover is extremely high, with most people quitting within a few months, and didn't have many positive things to say. After what felt like a non-paid orientation, I had the final interview at 5 PM, where I was intensely questioned about why I left every job I've ever worked. The next day, I followed up by phone with my potential reporting manager to ask about hearing back or if he'd gotten any feedback from the VP of Construction, but I never got a call back. I called again a week later and was completely ghosted. Honestly, the whole experience was unacceptable and unprofessional.
- Have you ever quit a job, and if so, why?
- Tell me about the circumstances surrounding you leaving your previous employment.
Customer Service Representative

- a very basic question
Customer Care Manager
The interview process started and during the second interview, I was given a start date and pretty much offered the job. However, after the third interview, they called to say they felt they couldn’t satisfy me with my experience and rescinded the offered start date. It was quite disappointing.
- What is your motivation for seeking employment with this company and what aspects of this role particularly appeal to you?
