Construction Manager
The interview process was really unprofessional. First, they scheduled me for an interview at a location an hour away, and told me I wouldn't be working there. But then they gave me a verbal offer for that same location. I turned it down. A few days later, someone called me for an interview at a different location, saying I'd start there and then move to a closer location. They offered me the job, but I asked for the future transfer to be in writing. I also negotiated the salary based on the range the recruiter gave me. After I countered, I got a voicemail saying they were rescinding the offer because of my salary and relocation demands. It was super unprofessional. The salary was within the range, and they'd already told me they could accommodate the relocation. They clearly made promises they couldn't keep. Avoid this company.
- Can you tell me about your weaknesses?
- Describe a situation where you turned a bad customer experience around.
Construction Manager
The interview process felt like a police interrogation where the employer was solely focused on my past experiences rather than my future potential with the company. I did not enjoy the interview process at all, as the interviewer was very rude and unprofessional.
- What feedback would your previous manager give about you?
Construction Manager
The interview process was smooth and informative about the company. They gave me a chance to ask questions, and it was a quick process overall. They asked different kinds of questions. It was just a phone screen, and I didn't move on to another interview.
- Can you tell me about your past work experience and how it's relevant here?
