Behavioral

I had two interviews for two different jobs and I have the experience for them both. I would tell anyone with experience to avoid this place. I know I can do the job and do it really well because I was a top performer at several companies. Publix missed out. I've heard a lot of bad things about their hiring and firing from people who worked there or tried to get hired.

Behavioral Other

It was a pretty laid-back interview. Typically, you'll need to take a drug test during the interview itself. Nothing too challenging. Make sure you're ready to talk about your past experiences, what you know, and what skills you have. Publix is a great place to work overall, and they offer good benefits.

I applied back in August 2016 and then got an email for a background check and assessment. About three weeks later, on September 23rd, I got an invite to set up an interview. I was surprised because they were only interviewing on Tuesday, September 27th. When I got there, I waited in the cafeteria until my name was called, and then the interview began. He started with easy questions like, 'Why should we hire you?' I felt good about my answers, and then he asked if I had any questions for him. I hadn't prepared any, so I said no. He chuckled and said, 'You did good, I'm going to try to fit you in. Just wait for a call or an email in the next few days.' It's been two days now, and I'm still waiting to hear if they're considering me.
