It was a pretty easy, conversational interview for the pharmacy technician role. The questions were pretty standard for any retail position. They asked about my customer service experience, how I'd handle difficult situations, and how I'd react in certain scenarios. The whole process was really laid back and it was just a phone interview, so I didn't have to go into the store.

It was easy. Just regular interview questions. Very low key. I had a one-on-one with the DM. They wanted to know about my previous jobs and why I think the public [pharmacy environment] will be different. They also asked if I thought the public [pharmacy environment's] focus on MTM is a good thing.

Behavioral Technical

I interviewed for a certified pharmacy technician position at a Publix in Orlando during the week of January 9, 2023. The interview seemed to go well, and I spoke with two Pharmacists. One of them said he'd call me by the end of the next week. When I didn't hear back by Friday afternoon, January 20, I called them. The pharmacist I spoke with didn't remember me when I introduced myself and mentioned our interview from the prior week. I asked if a decision had been made regarding the job, and she informed me they had decided not to fill the position. I'm confused why a licensed professional pharmacist wouldn't follow up and notify me about the status of this professional role.
