I got an email saying they were interested in interviewing me. Then there was a phone call with the Recruiter. They said I'd find out about the next steps in a few days and it would be good news. But I haven't heard anything back for weeks. They left me hanging, then ghosted me, and now I'm just in the dark.

So, the whole interview thing had two parts: first, a quick phone call with HR, like under 15 minutes. It was pretty technical, asking about my background, schooling, and if I needed visa sponsorship. After that, I went into the office for the second interview. It was the same HR person, and we mostly went over what we'd already talked about, but they dug a bit more into my resume. Then, the head of the department I'd be working with came in, and the HR person stayed to jot notes. This part was way more about the actual job, asking about my skills, if I could spot a current advertising trend, and what ad campaign was my favorite and why. It felt like a chat, honestly, where I could just talk about my own work based on the questions. It all flowed really smoothly, not stiff at all. Overall, it was a pretty good interview process, especially if you're ready and feel confident.

It went really well, however the lengthy hours that they require me to work while it being an unpaid internship kind of rubbed me the wrong way. I wish they would at least pay minimum wage, since I will have to be dedicating so much of my time. However, since this is a remote internship in a global company, it is definitely nice to do an internship in the comfort of your own home while getting to know about how the company works.
