After my resume was picked, I had a phone interview with the hiring manager. They asked general behavioral questions like what my biggest strength is and what my three biggest weaknesses are. Since it was an urgent opening, they also asked about my availability. Then, just one day later, I got a call offering me the intern role.

Applied online and got a call from the recruiter who wanted to schedule an interview for the next Tuesday. I agreed. I followed up, and after two weeks, he told me they had already started interviewing and offered two other similar roles. I picked the ones I was interested in, and he said he'd get back to me with dates. A week later, he said he was on leave and the team had started interviewing, and then sent another job description. I didn't reply. Two months later, I applied to other jobs and forgot about this company owning other companies. The same recruiter contacted me saying the team wanted to talk, but the next day I got an automatic rejection. I questioned him about it, and he made up an excuse about the interview process already starting, which made no sense given I didn't reply for just one day. The whole experience was unprofessional, a waste of time, and disrespectful. I suspect they post fake jobs to appear like they're growing or to show existing staff they're hiring, given they'd contact you for interviews and then ghost you.
