The recruiter first gave me a call to screen me, then I had a video interview with the Hiring Manager and Training Manager. The last interview was an in-office assessment where I had to do 3 tasks in their computer lab, testing my data entry, note-taking, and Excel skills.

There were two interviews for this process. The interviewers were nice and asked standard questions about my background, experience, and interest in the role. I got a verbal offer by email, pending HR's official letter. A day later, I received the official offer letter from HR detailing my title, salary, start date, and benefits. I planned to accept, but asked if the start date was flexible due to travel and if a higher offer was possible. Instead of discussing my request, they rescinded the offer, stating they were going in a different direction. I found this unprofessional. Any workplace that doesn't allow negotiation or questions after an official offer is not a place I'd want to work.

First, had a phone call with HR who immediately asked about salary expectations. Then, had FOUR more interviews with senior management, two of whom were VPs. They said they loved my experience but my salary expectations (which the HR rep had first brought up) were too high. The people were nice, but I'd never work with them again.
