Had a typical HR phone screening. When I was asked about my desired salary range, the interviewer became really rude and said it was outrageous and asked why I'd think I could make that much straight out of college, even though I gave a number lower than what my peers got and said I was flexible. She got short and standoffish after that and said I wouldn't be a good fit and just ended the call.

The entire interview process lasted roughly 3 weeks and was quite smooth and well-organized. It kicked off with a recruiter from HR getting in touch to set up a 30-minute phone chat. After that, it moved on to a 1-hour skills interview with a senior technical business analyst, and then a final meeting with the product owner. The interviews were mostly behavioral, focusing on your past experiences. The people interviewing were really nice and seemed genuinely interested in the conversations.

I applied to be a business analyst intern for PCG through my University's website. About three days after applying, I got a call from HR asking for an interview. I moved the interview to the next morning. I did a bunch of research on the company that night. The first phone interview was the next day and the questions were really easy. The call lasted about 30 minutes and they said I'd hear back within three days. Two hours later, I got another call asking me to come in for an in-person interview the next day. This interview was 1:1 and felt more like a conversation. It went like this: "Tell me about yourself" - I talked. "I'll tell you about my company" - I listened. "Any questions?" - I asked my list of company questions that I'd prepared from my research. This part took longer than the rest. Then we said goodbye and they said we'd keep in touch. I wish I'd asked, "When can I expect to hear back?" Three weeks went by before I heard anything, and I had found another job by then. The PCG opportunity was better, so I accepted, but I was confused by the slow response. I'm calling the interview "easy" because it wasn't much of an interview, but I was confused why there was no contact for so long.
