It started with a good talk with HR about my interest in the semi-conductor industry. HR seemed happy and we set up a later interview. Then I had the longest interview ever, with 4-5 people on the same day, each for about 30-45 minutes. I had to take a day off for it, but after that, they just disappeared. I emailed them a few times, and after a couple of weeks, they let me know I didn't get the job.

So, first I got an invite for a phone interview from a Talent Delivery Manager. The phone interview was about my past work experience and some basic questions about RF test equipment. Luckily, I then got an onsite invite from HR. It was a real pleasure to meet the pSemi Characterization Family. The interview questions included basic questions about RF/Microwave Measurement and RFIC design. It was a really friendly and active environment, and I totally enjoyed pSemi's work culture. I learned a lot from the pSemi family and this was my best experience! pSemi is a great opportunity for people really passionate about RFIC Engineering and wanting to be part of innovative, intelligent, and integrated electronics for the connected world.

I met a recruiter from PSEMI at a career fair and we had a good chat. Then, I got an email from their San Diego office to schedule a phone interview. I had the call a couple of weeks later, and it lasted about an hour and a half. The senior manager I spoke with was really nice. They mainly asked me questions about my CV and the ASIC design projects I'd worked on. The interview went well, but they were looking for someone to start in summer 2017, and I still had another semester left. He suggested I apply again closer to graduation if a suitable position opened up.

After submitting my application online, I had an initial screening with HR, followed by a 30-minute phone screen with the hiring manager. Then, there was an onsite interview that lasted 2.5 hours and included an Excel test with the team members, plus a 30-minute chat with HR. Finally, they sent over an offer letter. The whole thing from applying to getting the offer took about 4 weeks and moved really fast.
