The interviewers were really friendly and noticed I was nervous, so they offered encouragement and reassurance, which helped me relax. After the interview, they explained the shift work pattern and the benefits offered if I get the job.

Behavioral Presentation

So before the actual interview, we did this OE Port Tour thing where they showed us how the control center works and gave us a general idea of operations. It was pretty helpful, actually, seeing the real work environment beforehand. Then, the interview happened. The main focus was figuring out what kind of person I am to see if I'd fit into a planner role or a command center role.

Behavioral Technical Other

The first interview was with an ops lead and HR, which was okay, but the ops person was very direct. They mentioned it was more of a get-to-know-you session because there was no technical test due to my lack of experience in this sector. The second interview was with a VP and HR, which was a good experience. The questions were more focused on my working style for placement. I also had to do a DISC profiling after the first interview.

Confirmed questions4 questions
  • Can you work shifts and is your spouse okay with that?
  • Do you prefer planning or ops control?
  • Tell me about your strengths and weaknesses.
