Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Prudential.
Financial Advisor
It was a talkative interview, almost like they were trying to sell me on the idea of working there. The way they talked about the job and the numbers felt like a bit of an exaggeration.
- What are your thoughts on cold outreach and speaking with strangers?
Financial Advisor
They emailed me some questions that I had to answer. Lots of questions about my past experience. Also, you have to get licensed (Series 7, 66, 215 Life/Health Insurance) before you can start.
- Can you discuss the core characteristics we look for – being Self-Driven, Competitive, and having an Entrepreneurial Mindset – and provide examples from your experience?
Financial Advisor
The interview process had 3 steps. The only issue was that it took longer than I would have liked. The people were quality, and I got to meet my direct report in the second interview. I had to wait about a month after that. Other than the wait, it was a great process.
- Could you describe your work ethic?
