The interview process involved a screening call first. Then, there was an assessment centre which had two parts: a morning session with Q&A where I could ask questions and learn about the graduate scheme and company, and an afternoon session. The afternoon session included a 5-minute presentation I had a week to prepare on a topic of my choice, followed by questions about the presentation. After that, there was a 45-minute interview. An extra interview stage was added later because the company was going through some changes. I was told I'd hear back within a week, but I didn't get a response even after messaging HR, and they ghosted me. The process was pretty decent until the very end, which was handled unprofessionally, especially considering the effort I put into the application and preparation.

Behavioral Technical Case

I applied for the Accelerate Programme (Procurement Consultant) and the assessment process included a CV review, an informal phone interview about my past experience and reasons for moving into consulting from internal procurement, and a brief discussion about Proxima. Then there was a set of online intelligence tests. This was followed by a half-day assessment centre with a networking lunch, a talk from the CEO, a Q&A with current Proxima team members, a competency-based interview, and a case study interview. Overall, the process was great, streamlined, and efficient, with no overly long online forms. Interactions with Proxima staff were consistently pleasant, friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable, and professional. The assessment centre was challenging but the structure made it easy to perform. The CEO talk was unique, offering personal insights and future plans, and his presence showed the company values acquiring the right talent. Getting honest feedback from current employees of similar grade was also very helpful for understanding the role and company culture. The time between the end of the assessment and the decision announcement was also refreshingly short.

The interview involved a 10-15 minute presentation on a topic related to current events, like the impact of tariffs on procurement costs and supply chains, where I had to propose solutions. This was followed by general questions about the role and my experience.
