First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Provincial Health Services Authority.
Senior Project Manager
Recruiters reached out on LinkedIn about a project manager opening and projects to run. They were hiring for multiple roles, and a major selling point was the stability and predictability of working in healthcare once you're in.
- Can you describe your experience and the projects you've completed?
Project Manager
First I had a call with HR, then an e-interview with the hiring manager, and finally an in-person interview with two other people. I had to prepare a slide presentation for this last interview. I haven't heard back from them since October 2023, even though they said they'd be in touch in 2 weeks. Pretty disrespectful, considering 3 interviews and the effort to prep the slide deck.
- Can you tell me about yourself?
- What motivated your application for this position?
- How do you see yourself contributing to our team?
Program Assistant
I was hired through Talent on Demand. The initial interview was a simple one-on-one. This was for hiring within Talent on Demand. Once a placement within PHSA opens up, there's another interview with the department/program manager for that specific role.
- What motivates your interest in this position?
