I sent my resume and got a random call from HR about a month later asking if I could talk about the position right then, which I did for about 5 minutes. They asked why the mortgage industry and my major choice, and what location I preferred. They told me Atlanta had a Credit Analyst role, sent the job description which was super vague, and set up an interview for a week later. On the interview day, the Branch Manager called to say they had the flu and we had to reschedule for the next Tuesday. I made sure not to drive up the night before this time. The office was in a weird spot, and the parking was sketchy. Inside, there was no receptionist and it was eerily quiet. The woman who rescheduled greeted me and said the manager was still interviewing someone else. The branch manager was surprisingly chatty during the interview, and I thought I had a good chance, but didn't get the offer. This company has a lot of bad reviews, and my experience wasn't great either, though the manager seemed nice. I'd say if you have other offers, don't bother with this one.

So I had this initial phone interview about a week before the main one, lasted about 30 mins. They talked about their expansion plans and hiring needs, and the job itself. Then on the interview day, I went to their office by Lenox mall in GA. I met with the branch and district manager. The office setup was pretty basic, like a lunchroom partitioned into small cubicles. The interviewer tried to get the district manager on the phone for about 10 minutes to listen in, but couldn't connect, so I just made small talk to fill the silence. He wasn't very talkative, giving one-word answers. To top it off, I had caught a cold three days prior. When the interview started, he read behavioral questions one by one and noted down my answers.

Had an initial basic phone interview and then was invited to a 1 on 1 interview. The phone interview was very general with questions like: "tell me about yourself". The 1 on 1 interview was fairly easy with questions such as: "what are your strengths, weaknesses?", "what is a challenge that you had to overcome in your life?".
