First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Protiviti.
Senior Associate
There were about 4-5 rounds of interviews total. You also had to do an Excel test, a PowerPoint test, and sometimes a presentation. If you're not local, they might do a Skype interview.
- Can you tell me about your background and previous work experiences?
- Describe some case studies you've worked on.
- What are your guesstimates for a given scenario?
Associate Director
I applied for an Associate Director, Talent Acquisition, role in Bahrain. I spoke with a senior executive HR person for the Middle East. It was a cold interview, and they didn't try to sell the company to me at all. I was told the process would take about 6 weeks, and I'd get feedback in 1-2 weeks. After the call, I sent a thank you email, and they replied, 'we already told you we'd be in touch when we're ready!' Four weeks went by, and I followed up on feedback via email, but still no response. I decided to withdraw my application because of the lack of communication and urgency. I'd read reviews about Protiviti's great culture, but it seems that doesn't extend to the ME region based on other reviews.
- Nothing of any real substance was asked.
Process Associate
So the first round was on campus, it was 30 minutes of behavioral stuff and then 30 minutes of a case interview. After that, the second round was an onsite in New York. The night before, there was a dinner with some current employees and most of the other people applying. The next morning, there were some speakers, a panel, and then we had 2 interviews plus a small presentation to do with some small groups.
- Can you tell me about yourself?
- What interests you about this position?
- What would you say are your greatest strengths and weaknesses?
