Account Manager
This was a lengthy interview process with multiple steps. I got to the third interview, and I was really hoping for the job. But the salary they offered was way less than what was on the Indeed job posting. When I asked about it, they said it must have been a mistake on the posting, which felt dishonest. The second interview with the regional manager was weird. He asked me how much I wanted to make and then said if I said 200K, he would have ended the interview right then. It made me wonder about their company culture and how they treat people.
- What is your salary expectation?
Account Manager
I spoke with the manager and owner first, then completed a sales aptitude survey. A few days later, I had an in-person meeting with the Owner to discuss my fit and aspirations. She was very friendly and made me feel comfortable.
- What is your greatest weakness?
Account Manager
It started with an online assessment test that was easy. Then a virtual interview, also easy. After that, there was an interview with the showroom manager and someone from corporate at the location I was being considered for. Then a drug screening and a background check. There was also a phone interview. The whole process took me a while before I was hired, might take a month, though others got hired quicker.
- How will your past job skills be useful here?
- Tell me about a negative experience from a previous job and how you dealt with it.
- Describe a tough customer situation you faced and how you resolved it.
