Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Proskauer Rose.
Summer Associate
The interview process was very fair. It involved several panel interviews with partners and associates from practice areas I was interested in. The interviews were conducted over Zoom and lasted about two hours back to back. The recruiting team was great, and although the initial screener was a bit abrupt, I received a callback soon after.
- What is your motivation for working at our firm?
Summer Associate
I applied online via their website. Got an initial 20 minute screener call, and then just hours after that call, I was invited for a longer 2.5 hour callback interview.
- Tell me why you are interested in Law.
- Why did you choose to apply to Proskauer?
- Can you tell me about yourself and some of your experiences?
Summer Associate
I had a 20-minute OCI screener. The interviewer seemed really disinterested, spending half the time looking at their phone. I had to ask 8 questions because their answers were so brief. It's a shame because I was really interested in their practice and thought I did well with my answers and questions. This was my only bad OCI experience.
- Could you tell me about yourself?
