The interview process was quick, finishing in under 3 weeks and consisted of 3 stages. They let me know the decision after each stage within 1-2 business days, which was really efficient. Everyone I talked to was super nice. They gave good feedback after the technical interview and even said good work, which shows their great company culture. It made the conversations relaxed and easy. Overall, a 10/10 experience.

It took two months to schedule an interview after applying, by which time I had already accepted another offer. They didn't check if my situation had changed. HR scheduled a call with the team lead. The team lead explained the project and then asked technical questions. I felt the interviewer lacked experience with distributed systems. When I asked open-ended system design questions, they weren't interested in distributed systems and instead asked about class names. We seemed to be on different technical wavelengths. I don't understand the point of asking open-ended architecture questions if the interviewer can't engage in a deeper conversation based on the candidate's responses.

Overall, it was a really nice interview experience. I went through 2 in-person interviews. The first one was more focused on soft skills than technical stuff. The second one was pretty intense and definitely technical. The people I spoke with seemed to really know their stuff and understand our discussions. I also had the chance to ask some interesting questions during both meetings. It was a very positive experience overall.
