Staffing Manager
I was contacted by an HR representative via LinkedIn to schedule an initial phone interview. After successfully completing that, I proceeded to two in-person interview rounds. The team was really welcoming and seemed genuinely excited about working there. The holiday season did slow things down a bit, making the process a little longer than expected, but overall, it was a really good experience!
- Tell me about yourself and your career path.
- Can you describe your past work and responsibilities?
- Can you confirm your understanding of our recruitment procedures?
Recruiter
I found the job through LinkedIn and a recruiter called me about 20 minutes after I applied. They asked some general questions and then scheduled me to come in the next week. When I got to the office, the recruiter I spoke with on the phone interviewed me as if I was going to be placed by PSG at another company. I told them I was interested in working for the company, so the recruiter had me meet someone else from their team. It was a good experience overall, and the atmosphere was really professional and welcoming. Both people I met with were helpful and thorough.
- Could you share specific examples from your previous work experience that demonstrate your suitability for a recruiter role?
Recruiter
This recruiter role wasn't worth the effort. The job description was misleading, making it sound like more than just headhunting. While the people were nice, and the company has good clients and reviews, there's not much opportunity for advancement, the hours are long, and it's entirely in-person.
- What would your former manager say about you?
