Accountant
The interview process felt a bit unorganized. The recruiter was late, and the job description discussed wasn't the same as what was advertised. The salary range was higher in the job posting and indicated a hybrid work setup. However, during the phone call, the recruiter asked if I would be willing to work fully on-site, as the job didn't offer remote options, and the salary was about 15K less than stated in the posting. This misleading communication was a bit of a time-waster during the interview process.

Client Relationship Manager
I had three interviews, and they all seemed to go pretty well. First, I talked to a recruiter and then the CEO over the phone. After that, I went on-site to meet with two of the directors. These meetings felt good, maybe even better than the last. Following the on-site with the directors, they asked me to reflect on our discussion overnight and then call the CEO the next day about the next steps. I did that, but the CEO didn't pick up, so I left a voicemail. I then emailed one of the directors to thank them for their time and mentioned the voicemail I left for the CEO, copying him on the email. Then... nothing. They ghosted me. I even called the CEO again the next week just to get some closure, but it went to voicemail again. I get that I might not have been their top choice, and that's okay. But for a staffing company to ghost someone, it just seems unprofessional.

Staffing Specialist
I interviewed a while back but wanted to share what I learned. The whole thing took about two weeks. First, there was a quick phone chat, then I met with a Director and a senior manager. The interview was pretty standard, asking about strengths, weaknesses, and a lot about my background. The second interview was with a part-time Director and was incredibly unprofessional – she was on her phone the whole time, barely paying attention. She seemed to make up her mind quickly and wasted my time. Given how a Director acted there, I wouldn't want to work for them anyway. I never heard back, and two weeks later, I got a recruiting job with a better salary, commission, commute, and a much better culture fit. So, the bad interview actually led to a great outcome for me.
- A lot of background questions were asked, along with standard questions about strengths and weaknesses.
Trust and Safety Agent
It was a pretty good experience, I used a temp agency which made it feel less stressful, and they seemed genuinely invested in helping me secure a position. They had a connection with a company right here in my city, so I ended up working there after a couple of interviews – one over the phone and another on Zoom. The agency even helped me polish up my resume and get ready for that final Zoom interview with the company I'd be working for.
- Can you tell me what you feel has prepared you for this role?
- Could you describe your previous working experiences?
- Are you confident in your ability to communicate with both your team and customers via phone and Zoom?
