Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Prophet Brand Strategy.
Junior Consultant
It was a very simple interview; it was mostly about behavioral questions and a lot was also discussed about work expectations (like which location, remote work, in a team or alone etc). For me, my previous experiences were primarily discussed, for example.
- Why did you choose to apply for this particular role?
Consultant
First, an HR screen. Then, I had 2 interviews with current senior associates. One was a take-home assignment where I had to do a presentation about a brand that recently changed. The other interview covered my motivations, experience, and included a case study.
- Can you tell me why you're interested in working here?
- What is it about Prophet that attracts you?
- Tell me about your experience with brand and marketing case studies.
Consultant
The interview process involved several stages, including a case study and a final meeting with a partner. It took several weeks to receive the final rejection, mainly because I lacked direct experience in the field. I didn't really get to present the deck I had prepared.
- Create a case study for the specified brand.
