Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Propel Insurance.
Account Manager
I applied online and got contacted right away for a phone interview. It went well, so they sent me a personality test and a formal application to fill out. After that, I had an in-person interview with two representatives. They seemed nice, but in the end, they offered me an Account Assistant job, which wasn't what I applied for. With my 10+ years of experience, I was confused why they'd offer that. I felt the job ad was misleading, and they should have just advertised for an assistant role if that's what they wanted.
- Can you share a time you encountered an unethical situation at work and how you handled it?
Account Manager
It was a very professional, online interview that lasted about 30 minutes. The downside was waiting over two weeks for a response, even though I was told I'd hear back in 3 days. I sent an email after 4 days and was told I would hear soon.
- In five years, where do you envision yourself?
Account Manager
They asked good questions and wanted to learn about me and my experience. Several interviews with different people. Online and in person. They have a really nice office in Bellevue.
- Can you tell me about your experience?
