First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Propel Insurance.
Receptionist
The interview process was straightforward with just two interviews. I appreciated that the interviews felt more like a discussion than a test of my responses. The atmosphere was very welcoming, and I immediately felt a positive connection.
- Were you able to work in person?
Insurance Executive
The interview process was super smooth and fast. It was a very conversational type of interview. I talked with people from Propel and Alera Group. I got the offer in under a month.
- Can you describe your previous experience in the insurance industry?
Account Manager
I applied online and got contacted right away for a phone interview. It went well, so they sent me a personality test and a formal application to fill out. After that, I had an in-person interview with two representatives. They seemed nice, but in the end, they offered me an Account Assistant job, which wasn't what I applied for. With my 10+ years of experience, I was confused why they'd offer that. I felt the job ad was misleading, and they should have just advertised for an assistant role if that's what they wanted.
- Can you share a time you encountered an unethical situation at work and how you handled it?
Software Developer
so first there were 2 rounds of online coding test, then another two rounds of offline coding test. then an interview with dsa based and resume based questions. also had a comprehension test and aptitude test which were part of the 4 tests.
- Tell me about your experience with arrays.
- Can you explain concepts related to graphs?
- What are your strengths in dynamic programming?
