So, for the interview, they gave me this system, basically to see how good I am at finding bugs, especially in the UI. I went through it pretty carefully, using both manual testing and some automated tools. I started with the user interface, checking everything to make sure it looked right, was easy to use, and accessible. I found a bunch of stuff, like small visual issues like text not lining up right or different font sizes, which, you know, can make the product look less professional. But more importantly, I found usability problems too, like when you click a button and nothing happens, or when a form doesn't check your input properly. This could really annoy users or cause them to enter bad data.

It was a pretty typical interview process. They check your testing abilities and ask some programming questions, and it was fine if you used pseudocode. First, there was an HR interview, then a manager interview where they mostly asked about my experience and if I was a good fit. After that, there was an interview with the manager and some team members that was technical, and then another interview with some other QA team members that was also technical.

I got an email with a link to an online test. I asked about the time limit and programming languages, and was told it was 2 questions for 45 mins, but wasn't sure if that was total time or per question. I took the test but heard nothing back, not even a confirmation. A senior engineer reviewed my answers and said they were correct. I got advice not to do these kinds of tests where the company doesn't invest time, but they take up a lot of my time, and they send them to many people without even looking at resumes first. Learned my lesson.
