Public Relations Assistant
The company reached out via phone call and sent further information through email. I went to their office in Farmington Hills for a roughly 20-minute interview with Samantha, who was very friendly and kept things quite informal. I had prepared some questions, which she seemed more interested in than discussing the role itself, and her answers were vague, leaving me a bit unsure. There was a second interview at a Costco in Livonia with someone else. My interviewer, Sam, was very friendly and dove right into the job specifics, which was a relief. I observed her and another employee performing the job for about 20 minutes while taking notes. Afterward, we moved to the cafe for a more formal part where she asked a few questions, and I asked a few. Overall, it was a positive experience with Sam. The final step was a third interview, recommended by Sam based on my previous performance. I was offered this interview but declined as I was no longer interested in the position at that point.

Event Assistant
I applied online and got a call the next day from the receptionist who really wanted to set up an interview for the next day. I got there on time but had to wait 40 minutes for the hiring manager. The person interviewed before me left looking upset, which wasn't a good sign. The hiring manager clearly hadn't looked at my resume. She talked really fast, and her questions felt scripted and impersonal. I felt rushed the whole time. I thought I'd learn about the event assistant role, but she explained I'd be working events, like booths at Sam's Club, selling products. She said the job required working long hours on weekdays and weekends, from 10 am to 7 pm or 11 am to 8 am. I asked a lot of questions, but she kept avoiding them or trying to sell me on the job, which didn't work. I saw similar reviews before but decided to go anyway. If you want something stable and professional related to actual events, this isn't the company for you.
- The interview was pretty basic, nothing too hard or surprising.
Marketing Coordinator
I applied online and got contacted the next day for an interview scheduled for the very next day. When I arrived, I noticed the front desk staff were making numerous calls to other candidates, using the same script. The interview itself didn't delve into personal questions about my background, experience, or skills. An hour after the interview, I received a call with a job offer and was asked to report for training the next day at Costco, which contradicted what I was told during the interview about the nature of the job. Further research revealed that the company's description of the role as 'marketing' and 'coordinating' is misleading, as the actual job involves in-store product sampling.

Marketing
The interview process was brief and the description they gave was misleading. The office environment was also quite unpleasant. Their whole setup felt outdated. The receptionist was loudly discussing other applicants within earshot in the same room. Finding their office from the main road was difficult, as they are located in a large building with many rented office spaces. The office itself was in poor condition; the carpets were stained and dirty. One would expect a company that claims to be professional to invest in their hiring space. Their image could be better. I explored the office, including the restroom, and observed that the waste bin was overflowing with used tissues soiled with feces. There was no soap in the dispenser, and numerous toilet paper rolls were scattered on the bathroom floor. I even took a photo. While I was there, several other candidates were also filling out the same paperwork. It's disheartening that many of us are recent graduates, and companies like this operate as pyramid schemes, demanding excessive work for very low pay and demeaning tasks. They should be ashamed.
