Recruiter
The interview process was...interesting.. I went through 3 rounds of interviews. The first 2 were with the same woman, who was very nice. She then told me that for my 3rd interview, I'd be job shadowing then meeting with the director of recruiting. I get on for the job shadowing, and it's just another recruiter grilling me with more questions, asking the same question over and over, just rewording it. Then picking apart every response I give, giving me dirty looks the entire time. She wasn't nice. Not very encouraging to see during an interview. Again, no job shadowing. I then get on with the recruiting director and somebody else as well. They were nice enough. Again, still asking the same questions I've been asked 50 times prior, so I'm running out of ways to answer the questions differently. They also ask me how the job shadowing went, that didn't happen. I didn't want to call anyone out, so I didn't mention that I didn't get to shadow. The recruiter I spoke with that I was supposed to be job shadowing gave me so many red flags and just made me feel uncomfortable in general, so I'm kind of glad they did not offer me the position. I feel it's important to note, I am more than qualified for this position. I believe I got rejected due to the "sorority girl" mentality of the one I was supposed to job shadow, who decided to "interview" me instead. Overall, I'd avoid this place. Seems like a toxic place to work.

I had a great interview experience. I first spoke with the Director of Operations. Then, I moved on to a half-day where I shadowed a recruiter who was really helpful in explaining the day-to-day tasks and the team culture. Finally, I had a panel interview with the Recruiting Manager and the Sales Manager. Everyone I spoke with answered all my questions clearly and authentically, and I felt I could interview them as much as they interviewed me, which I appreciated.

Recruiter
It was a pretty standard interview process. I applied online and got a call from the corporate recruiter. They were nice, and actually better at communicating via email than on the phone. After that, I had a 1-on-1 with the Director of Operations. It felt like they were more focused on whether I'd be a good personality fit than on my actual resume. I was told that the team makes 51% of the hiring decision, and the Director makes the other 49%. The next part was a long 3-hour session. It involved shadowing a recruiter and then having 4-6 interviews, each about 30-45 minutes long, with different account managers. Most of these questions were framed using the STAR method, like asking about specific past experiences. Honestly, this second round felt way too long for the type of questions they were asking, especially since they were repetitive. The final interview was another 30-minute 1-on-1 with the Director of Operations. I was a bit surprised they asked more in-depth questions at this stage, after already going through two rounds. I felt good after leaving, but as time passed with no updates, my confidence dropped. I figured if they were really interested, they would have made an offer right then. By the end of the week, I was told they decided to go in a different direction. Which is fine, but after two rounds with most of the team, I thought they'd have a good enough read on candidates. It felt like that final interview was just leading me on. Also, I heard conflicting things about the company's growth. The corporate recruiter mentioned in the rejection email that the office was overstaffed, but the Director of Operations kept saying the company is growing rapidly and looking to expand. If they're overstaffed, I'm not sure I want to work for a 6-year-old company that might be facing financial difficulties. Overall, the people were great and the organization seems decent, but the interview process was too long, and the communication at the end didn't seem to align with their stated value of honesty and consistency.
